Left Laos after two long bus journeys arrived in Hanoi Vietnam not really any problems at border althrough you do have to pay a dollar to get your passport back in Vietnam. Our Guide Tom painted a wonderful picture of the Vietnamese saying that at the border they spit, push, smoke and are tricksom this was probally quite a true portrait on our first impression. The problems began in Vietnam with a flood that had destroyed a bridge this meant a two hour wait then us packing in to van for twenty all our bags and about thirty people for a good two hours. Arrived in Hanoi only just in time for food then up ear;y in morming for a full breakfast at a place called Koto's very good. Went to see Ho Chi Minh today he looked a bit spooky to us. We were told to be very serious but me and Emily were not so good at being told what to do (probally due to both being teachers) so we found it hard not to laugh walking around the body.  Aaron and Caroline despaired and decided to disown us. Had a quick look around the old quarter the sun is shinning as it has been proper raining today so we are off to enjoy the sun.
