First night in Dalat went out for drinks and food with two people we met on the coach up Claire and Mark. We are both staying at the same little hotel one of the most friendly places we have stayed. Had great food as usual and lots of Dalat red wine.

Next day went to the lake it looked nice from a distance but close up you could see people coming to dump their rubbish (not a great social consciousness). Went to a flower garden not seen too many flowers in Vietnam until Dalat and this place was full of them. The topography was quite impressive. Next we went to a house called the crazy house and it was crazy a mixture of Dali and Gaudi. It is a guesthouse but some of the creatures looked a bit menacing to spend a night with. Went to little place opposite for dinner gave us the hugest side salad ever Keeley says that is all she is going to eat tonight.

Today we went on a tour of Dalat and around with the easy riders. The easy riders are bikers with great local knowledge. Keeley was very nervous before hand but was soon handling it like a pro one handed so we could get a video. During in the tour we saw local peolpe doing farming, silk and making rice wine (very strong). The wine was used to keep the pigs drunk so they did not waste energy and just ate drank and slept. The Elephant waterfall was worthy of the trip in it self. We both enjoyed the tour so much that we are now going on 3 night 4 day tour through the highlands to Mui Ne on the bikes rucksacks and all.
