Had an early start, we set off to the jungle in a tuk tuk (local transport) it was a pretty bumpy ride and the two tuk tuk's liked to race each other, the boys was always the slowest. We were told it was a two hour trek that wouldn't be too strenuous what a load of guliable fools we were. The walk started off well but once deep in the jungle the mud became one long slippery slide. This resulted in a lot of laughs, screams and even tears. Natalie was the first to end up in slpits on the floor much to everyones amusement, but it wasn't long before the rest of us followed (except Aaron) we didn't find so funny then. The part we are all trying to forget is when Petar stood on what we think was an underground wasp nest which resulted in stings all around, those that were lucky got more than one! The pain was excruitating but fortunately it only lasted half hour. The walk took us about 4 hours and when we eventually arrived at the waterfall and took off our shoes it seems a leech was hiding inside leaving a wound that did not want to stop bleeding. Can't wait for the Amazon!

The waterfall was very cold and welcoming after the events of the morning. For once the water was blue instead of the mucky brown of the Mekong. Aaron as usual jumped from the rope swing and other higher places he could find some of them weren't that graceful as he plunged into the pool. At the bottom of the waterfall was a tiger and some bears rescued from poachers. the tiger just slept but the bears were performing circus type acts for us with their tyre swing. Ended the evening watching the football just like a typical night back home.

Today we drove over to Vang Vieng, once again the jungle and mountain scenery was spectacular and the little village children loved to follow and wave.
