Vikki: 4 days in Langkawi has been bliss. A pool nearly 150m long, with slides, wave pool and a lazy river, its hard to complain. Has been in constant use by all. Vikki: We are in Penang. It's hot, probably the hottest place we've been yet, but we have a pool and the beach across the road! Vikki: Today was our last day in KL. Tomorrow we head off again on the bus for Penang Island - bring on the beach! We headed into the city this morning and got tickets to go up the Petronas Towers, also known as the Twin Towers. They stand 452 metres tall and are joined by a Sky Bridge 170m up. Vikki: Today we are Kuala Lumpur. We arrived yesterday after a 2 hour bus ride and we are here for 3 days. It is very hot here still and there have been lots of tropical downpours with thunder and lightening. Today we visited the Batu Caves & Temple and the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park.
