We Arrived at 9am from night bus into Chiang Mai. We got dropped at a random hostel but they kindly ordered free songthaew’s (tuk tuks), these are like red vans that fit about 12 people in the back. They are famous in Chiang Mai.

We went to Stamps Hostel to check in. We were too early so we Left our luggage there and freshened up. Stamps was a really cool hostel and they had all the events that were going on in the reception on a notice board.

Later that morning We met Jonny from Cheshire and Shane from America. I even bumped into Sarah from my north trip in India.

Sadie, Jessie, Jonny, Shane and I all decided to go to the water park at the Grand Canyon. We got the red songtheaw there.

It was such a fun day, it was a Waterpark full of inflatables in a giant canyon! We had so much fun, it was like being children again! There was also a zip line so we went zip lining toooo! Must say I didn’t feel too flattering zip lining in my swimsuit with the harness on. It was such a fun day and it felt like we had all known each other longer!

That evening we went to lady boy show which was right round the corner from the hostel. This was amazing, I had never been to one before and they were sooooo realistic it was crazy! There dances were so good too! After the show we decided not to go out so we treated ourself to the famous severn11
toasties.
