Woke up fresh as a daisy at 8am for a day with the elephants! We had breakfast at the hostel which was very tasty!
Sade, Jessie, Shane, Jonny and rob who was Jonny’s friend from Jersey and I went to the elephant park.
We Arrived and had to change into our elephant carer clothes. I had a large pair of blue wrap round trousers and a camel coloured top!
We started off by Feeding them bananas. Before going near the elephants we filled up our tote bags with small bananas. As we walked towards the elephants they knew what we had! There trunks were swooping around us like crazy! They ate them whole without being peeled! However the baby elephant wanted the banana peeled! This was a magical experience as you were sooo close to the elephants!
We then Went to a banana tree field and chopped the trees down for them. I didn’t know but they use every part of the tree. Inside the trunk they peel of bits for the elephants, they also eat the outside of the tree too and then the banana leaves are used for food!
We then headed back and Had lunch, we made our own noodle soup which was delicious. Not so sure about the chicken though...
We they went on a walk with the elephants. It was so amazing to just walk alongside an elephant in the wild, such a surreal experience. After watching them in the wild we took them to the mud bath. Here we got in and there mid at them and massaged it in, mud is really good for there skin! I was covered from head to toe - I even had it in my hair!
We then went into fresh water and Washed them, it was funny as the baby elephant was rolling in the water and all you could see was the bump of his head! We had more food before heading back to the hostel.
After arriving at the hostel we freshen up and went out for food and night market. The night market was interesting, kinda had everything! Was strange though as all the shop keepers were rather moody!
We then Went out out and to a karaoke bar. Just before me and Sadie has three tequila shots in one go, I felt crazy! We met some more of the people from the hostel at the bar! Sadie sung karaoke and she was actually really good. Jonny and Rob also did a duo which was pretty hilarious!
We then went to another bar where we again did three tequila shots with the boat! Sadie started cartwheeling in the middle of a dance of group!
On the way to the next place, Sadie noticed a romantic couple having a meal and she decided to break out into an operatic singing! Crazy lady!
We went into a club and the strobe lights were just way to much so we decided to go to the main clubs! We went to one and me and Rob managed to loose everyone. Tried the next club and couldn’t see them so we ended up heading back!
We had cuddles and went to bed....x
