Well done to us! We Woke up at 6am for the famous floating markets at
Damnoen Saduak. This has been Thailand's best known floating market for a very long time but it is also the most touristy one...
The markets were an Hour and a half away and we were all so so hungover. We got a mini bus there and then all mounted the boats.
It was the stranger thing I’d seen. It consisted of lots of stalls on the river bank and then the boys had a driver and they would stop as the people pleased. I’m not quite sure why this is an easy way of shopping, I’m pretty sure they don’t sell as much. Jessie bought a rice hat, which she managed to do a good barter for! We then dismounted the boats and had an hour to have food and drink.
After lunch we mounted a different set of boats, these were like speed boats. They went to show us how the locals live. However our driver was young and fun, and kept a speeding through the houses! It was so much fun! We kept saying faster faster.
After our long morning and afternoon we arrived back late afternoon. We decided to have a chilled one around the pool before getting a night bus to Chiang mai. We had so much fun around the pool, we were playing a game of running across the bean bags in the pool!! It was so much fun!
We then stocked up on supplies at seven11 and then went to get our night bus at 8pm
