Arrived in Washington DC yesterday. A huge change from New York. Everything this side shuts at 7pm. Monuments everywhere so we spent a few hours yesterday and all day today checking them out. I have uploaded photos. Most impressive was the Capitol Building and its freedom statue. Tomorrow we will check out a couple of museums. Zoe took some great photos of the White House. Also visited Arlington Cemetery. The Korean War Memorial was wonderful to see - everyone has mentioned that at night it is very eerie and a sight to see but don't really feel safe out alone with the girls at night - no reason in particular.
