We start the morning early, (Not as early as some, as we slept in) and head to Wilson's Promontory. Naturally, it starts raining as soon as we get there, but we power on regardless. On the way in we spot some kangaroos for a few happy snaps, and continue on to the the far southern corner, from where we get out and walk to mainland Australia's most southerly point. There isn't much to see, as it's cloudy and rainy, and still, we did it. Unfortunately, there was a casualty. My oh so pricey Berghaus GoreTex Paclite Waterproof turns out not to be so waterproof, and my phone gets wet in the process, and dies on me. That makes the list of fatalities: 1x G-Shock Watch, 1x Bridgedale Sock, (lost in Nambia's desert) and now 1x mobile phone. Happpy days.
Afterwards, we pile back onto the bus, and make our way to Melbourne, where I have never been so glad to see a hotel room with en suite. It nearly reduced me to tears!
