Pergamum is the home of the ruins left from the Acropolis, complete with giant pillars, spectacular panoramic views, and the remains of an enormous amphitheatre which we had to put to the test. Not to be one to miss the opportunity to utilise a stage in front of a crowd of Japanese tourists, Paul and I reenacted a delightfully moronic skit from a British football show. Unfortunately the humour passed over the stone seating and also over the heads of our bewildered audience. At least we thought it was funny... and the acoustics were amazing!!! :)
