Fri 9 Nov we left Rotorua campsite and had a fairly long drive down the East Coast of the North Island. We visited a paying attraction on the way out of Rotorua which was a huge park of natural thermal springs (photos to follow!). Very impressive though. This is Auckland again - cannot get my photos up on the blog yet for our next destinations. Next morning, Wednesday 7th we drove down and East to the Coromandel Penninsular, beautifull rolling hills, another fairly cloudy day with breaks of sunshine. We arrived in Auckland on Tuesday 6th Nov, Big City in the North Island. We lost a day from flying from Rarotonga., crossing the dateline, we left on Monday morning and arrived on Tuesday!. Have been Scuba diving every day since Tuesday!. We found a better beach than where we are staying, has very shallow waters so easy for a novice like me to go snorkelling standing up!. Well im out of days now as it is Sunday (last day of holiday). Have had a great time here in Raro.
