We arrived in Auckland on Tuesday 6th Nov, Big City in the North Island. We lost a day from flying from Rarotonga., crossing the dateline, we left on Monday morning and arrived on Tuesday!. Auckland was cloudy all day so I have no photos like this!. This is Auckland Harbour, I have taken from the photo library on this website. We stayed in Auckland just for the one nite. The afternoon was spent at 'Kelly Tarltons' because they have an 'Antarctic Experience' with Penguins, it was worth it for that alone. We went up the Sky Tower and had a mooch around (they have a casino in the Sky Tower too!), tried out a local pub and then crashed for Tuesday at a local campsite in Manakau.
