London 13:00 / Singapore 20:00

The adventure has begun! I am currently in Singapore airport killing time. It is fantastic, so calm and peaceful (they are currently playing a piano version of 'Fields of Gold') with the most amazing toilets! The shops are really interesting and there's a butterfly garden! There's also a crazy old man who rides around on an electric scooter beeping at people! The flight from Heathrow wasnt too bad, found it difficult to sleep but eventually exhaustion took over and I managed to get some rest. Not sure if I'm going to be up to doing much by the time I reach Brisbane though! Just about to board my next flight...another 7 hours to go!

Unfortunately I havent been able to meet up with Stacy yet. She missed her flight to Singapore due to a delay in her flight from Aberdeen and some slight confusion with terminals! I will now see her on Friday.
