Woke up around 6:00am and just kind of layed there, it was nice not jumping right up. I still enjoy getting up early in the morning. Best time to be awake is before sunrise, everything is so quiet.
Today‘s agenda Jeff my friend from TR showed me around Elkhart very cool city with a lot of character. We stopped for breakfast, great little restaurant I ordered a breakfast burrito and potatoes and the waitress , asked me are you sure you want to order potatoes too, since they come in the burrito too and I said yes. Well that started a conversation, she said you live here right? You been here before. I said nope first time. She didn’t believe me, apparently someone else orders the same thing I do often when they come in. Anyways, this burrito was gigantic not kidding took the whole plate. It was filled with onions, tomatoes, sausage, potatoes, cheese and eggs. in top it was smothered in sausage gravy. So amazingly good though. I ate it all and the potatoes on the side.
We then went into his office and he showed me his business. Very nice office in an old building downtown , love the architecture. Glad when old buildings are repurposed/used. The business is growing and I may return here and work for Jeff. The opportunity stands.
We then left the office, I drove his pickup and he drove one of his company cars he was trading in up to Kalamazoo Michigan about an hour and half from Elkhart. We get about 20 miles away and the company car quits . We had to call a tow truck to pick it up. We then continued to the car dealership and he purchased a new vehicle for the business . This trip ended up being most of the day. Got the new car and headed back to Elkhart.
This evening, we relaxed had great conversation. Enjoyed a few beverages and had a great dinner. It has been so much fun spending time here .his family is so nice and I appreciate the hospitality.
