After a few days in the city it was time to move on again and we had heard of this lodge in a cloud forest called Lost and Found. We thought it would be a great idea to rock up at the bus station Easter Friday and get a bus west to David which is a major connecting town to the rest of Panama. We get to the bus station in PC and the line was about 300mts long and only 1 person serving. We looked at the map to see what towns were on the way and ended up taking a bus about 3 hours and then another bus from there for another 3 hours till we got to David. It was late by that time so we just found a hostel and thought we can head for Lost and Found tomorrow.
In the morning we get to the bus station waited for our bus to get full so we can leave and drive about 1 hour to the lodge. We then had to walk up about 15mins through the lush rain forest to reach the lodge. The lodge was great with walking trails to the river, a maze, hummingbirds flying round, a monkey and a little bear. It was a little rainy once we got there so we made lunch, played cards and then hit the maze which ended up been a lot trickier then what we thought. At night the pub at the lodge was good fun with a great happy hour and a Foosball competition.
The next day was beautiful so we headed to the hot springs, which was nice but so hot we spent most of the arvo in the freezing river. It started raining in the afternoon so we went back to the hot springs which was way better with the cold rain falling on us and sipping on a cold beer. In the arvo it was back to the lodge for more cards and a chilled out arvo. The following day we were going to do a 5 hour trek but we woke up to rain so after breakfast we watched a movie to see if the rain would stop, it didn't so we packed up and headed to the coast.
