We arrived in Santa Clara early morning after a 12 hour night bus which was ugly. They stopped about 7 times along the way which meant lights on and people talking and babies crying. So at 7.15am we caught a taxi to the bus station with all our stuff hoping to get 2 tickets to Santiago for the Festival of Fire. Thank god we were lucky enough to get tickets as we weren't the only ones there. It was a pretty good bus we just watched 4 movies. We caught the bus to Trinidad 1 1/2 hours $6 each. We caught a bike taxi from the bus station to the Casa. The one we had booked was full up again so we got sent to another old man the casa was nice and we did only end up staying one night. We were going to stay for longer but we found out about the Festival of Fire in Santiago so we changed our plans and bailed the next day.

We caught an old 50's taxi from Playa Larga to Cienfuegos it took 2 hours plus a 1 hour stop off in the town called Australia which we had to do. We visited a Revolution museum in Australia which Junior enjoyed but I just took pictures. Cienfuegos is a small town with just a small plaza and a board walk.
