So today we went to Arlington National Cemetery, and it shocked me that there were so many people buried there. After that, we went to the Hiroshima Memorial and Mount Vernon. The size of the plantation astonished me and I found the color of the rooms really weird. It was so hot in the house, I wonder how Washingtons family was able to do it with all those layers of clothing. AfterNount Vernon, we went to Alexandria and took a tour of the city and the way it was preserved so well was kind of cool and it was really easy to picture colonial life there.
