Today, we took a tour of Williamsburg and went inside the Governor's Palace. I was stunned by its architectural beauty, and it's size. It really looked like a mini castle. I found all the weapons in the Grand Foyer quite odd and intimidating at the same time which was probably why they were displayed there. Today, we visited the Smithsonian Zoo, which was similiar to the one we have in Oklahoma, then drove all the way to Jamestown. It was so hot and muggy, I don't know how the colonists did iy. Today, we went to multiple memorials. The first memorial we went to was the Marthin Luther King Jr. Memorial, then we went to the FDR memorial. It was interesting to see the timeline of his life and how the memorial showed an acceptance for disabled people in multiple ways. So today we went to Arlington National Cemetery, and it shocked me that there were so many people buried there. After that, we went to the Hiroshima Memorial and Mount Vernon.
