THURS: Today was our first trip out of the city, we decided to go to Phillip Island and see the smallest penguins in the world. It was early start at 7:30am as we wanted to go to the market before the trip began-we brought cheese and bread and carved our sandwhiches togeva at the market with a plastic knife-very amusing and a few funny looks,haha! we were then set to go for the trip. First we went to the animal park and met a wombat, koalas and kanagroos and wallabes......very cute!! We then spent the day at numerous locations seeing penguins in the wild and then headed for the beach at dusk to see the smallest penguins in the world (ranging around 30cm tall). Amazing and cute site! we then had pizza and headed off home...still very tired!!
