Today was full of sightseeing!!! We went to the 3rd most famous beach in the world 'Bells Beach'. We drove along the great ocean road and saw panoramic views of the ocean. Stopped for lunch at a fishing town-Apollo Bay and then headed to see the 12 apostles (although there is now only 11 as one fell down in 2005). Today was a very long day, started at 5:20am and headed for Mt. Buller to do our first ever snowboarding experience. We travelled through the yarra wine valley and arrived at the mountain at around 10am. We grabbed our kit and headed for the slopes as TOTAL NOVICES!! THURS: Today was our first trip out of the city, we decided to go to Phillip Island and see the smallest penguins in the world. Its been a busy time in Melbourne..... WED: Spent all day exploring the city of Melbourne, starting with Federation Square and then on to the river side aquarium were we saw extremely large fish such as sharks, stingrays and even tiny starfish. Well we have survived a 22 hours flight and look rough :( Have been stuffed to the rafters with many a nice meals and snacks on the plane and feel i dont need to eat for days,lol. Dan is very tired but pands is ok as i had 6hours sleep on the plane :) Hong Kong airport was nice but only spent an hour their untill we wer herded bk onto the plane!!
