Its been a busy time in Melbourne.....

WED: Spent all day exploring the city of Melbourne, starting with Federation Square and then on to the river side aquarium were we saw extremely large fish such as sharks, stingrays and even tiny starfish. After a few hours there we headed down to the coast on the tram to Saint Kilda were it was very windy and cold and almost totally desserted-the beach isnt a popular place to visit in the winter apparently,lol! We also spent half an hour walkin the wrong way so was glad to be back on the tram bk into melbourne wen we had found our way :) Spent the rest of the afternoon enjoyin a big fat muffin and coffee and wondered around the city untill we headed off bk to the hostel and met Safari Pete! A crazy travel auction in the hostel-he wasd mad,haha! we had sum vege pizza which was yummy and headed off into the night to venture to a local rock club which cost a fiver to get in and as u can imagine was dead!!! oh well!!! we then headed off home and was met by the tram police, our tix had ran out by 2mins (after midnight) so we dived off the tram and walked the rest of the way to the hostel, they come in groups and are VERY scary, we weren't taking any chances,lol!!! Our first day in Melbourne....DONE!!
