Monday- Our first trip to the Great Barrier Reef were we scuba dived twice for a total of around an hour....awesome experience. We also snorkelled around the boat so saw loads of pretty fish (plenty of piccys on underwater camera)

Tuesday- Cape Tribulation. Stayed in the rainforest in a little beach hut for one night. Was able to go on a long walk around the beaches and rainforests! Also went jungle surfing-which was short but a good activity! This is also the only place in the world were 2 world heritage places meet-the rainforest and the reef.

Wednesday- Came back from Cape Tribulation and headed down the port douglas- Drama 1. Dan left his camera on the bus so went runnin back to get it-luckily they dropped it off at the hostel, phew!! Met our Canadian room mates who we also went out for tea with and saw MASSIVE bats in hundreds-were about 1m long :O fascinating.

Thursday- Another day in Port Douglas......we rented out a couple of bikes from the hostel and rode all day down the 4mile long beach. Stopped before our return journey and sunbathed whilst Daniel (ray mears) cook made a wind shelter as we kept getting battered by the sand! Ray mears dan also managed to break into a coconut so we enjoiyed fresh coconut milk and fruit-very refreshing! Whilst getting ready for tea that evening we realised a wind shelter wasn't the only thing we needed.....we are both sunburnt..BAD!! so now we are both lookin like lobsters,haha!
