Hallo
So now WE are in Stuttgart (still in Germany) so yes our paths have crossed once again. How exciting. We arrived at the bahnhof (station - yeah Wooda thinks he can speak German now...) yesterday morning after a 530am start and were met by Wooda's uncle Buzz. The best way to describe Stuttgart is a city nestled in the green rolling hills, in southern Germany, the centre of town is surrounded by hills lined with vineyards and rich b*****s' mansions.
Yesterday was a perfect day, the sun was shining and we checked out a good view of the city from the Mercedes Tower (both Mercedes and Porsche have their factories and headquarters here). Met up with Oscar, Wooda's cousin and spent a sunny arvo on a green hill near a random building that was built for no reason but is quite pretty. OK. Well we've had a few celebration beers for Wooda's bday and can't quite remember what the place is called but yeah played some frisbee and oh yeah the building belonged to some important guy called Louis. (Wooda says he was a german king and it was built in 1768 like seriously who remembers these kind of things...)
We took Oscar back to boarding school in the arvo to a town 45 mins drive away and it was very pretty, not bombed by the Britiish so still pretty intact. (hey Mike we went on the AutoBahn and dude the cops drive Porsches so that they can keep up with people). It was a perfect night and we sat in one of the squares having icecream and coffee.
Today checked out Stuttgart, it was seriously the nicest sunny morning but the minute we got into town and stepped off the U-bahn (like a tram) the sun went behind the clouds and it started raining!
Went out tonight for some bday drinks. Twas nice. Tried some Bavarian beer - Weissbier - which was rather unusual and tasted slightly like bananas. Wooda says it was the nicest beer he has tasted so far but Rhi didn't really like it.
So anyway back in Cologne wooda arrived on Thursday, greeted by 20 girls as Jana was having a brunch with all her friends. Wooda's bag got lost on his flight over which I (rhi) thought was pretty funny as I had just told Jana's mum the night before that we hadn't had anything go wrong yet. That night went clubbing, this fundraiser hawaiian night thingamajig for Jana's school's prom, had a bit to drink and didn't get home till 5.
Checked out the Chocolate Museum, the main centre of Cologne and met up with Ella and Jeanne when they arrived on Friday afternoon. Tried currywurst, the local version of fish and chips - curry sausage and rhi tried sour crout as well. Both ever so tasty. I (rhi) managed to eat icecream 6 days in a row which was even more tasty!!
Hopefully will put some photos up soon if u guys are lucky. haha.
Later alligator
xoxo
