A little diamond in the rough for both sun, lake, walking and skiing in the winter.
We took the dogs on a little trail round the back side of the lake. Quite a easy walk but just so pretty. When you look down into the water it feels like you're on a desert island.
It's a popular walk as you can walk half way then get a ferry back but the hour walk only took us about 35mins so we found a little hut had some lunch and a paddle and then walked back.
It was probably just under 30 degrees so we kept stopping so the dogs and us could drink. We found some really nice gorges that would be perfect for ice climbing.
There is a campsite right on the water front but we decided to move on as there was another lake just round the corner that we wanted to see aswell.
