Another pool day, seriously where are our tans?! The boys came back from Pai and rejoined us so we decided to head to central plaza mall. It was like stepping into the Trafford centre with marks and Spencer's, superdry, la senza and TOPSHOP all staring us in the face. Kelly had already prewarned her mum her bank account may take a hint but we were all well behaved and only gg emerged with a new bikini (she obviously deserved it) It was nice to have a reminder of home as everything out here is so different. It's amazing how many different versions of scrambled egg we have actually tasted whilst being away, the worst obviously containing onion and tomato at 8 in the morning.
wednesday was another pool morning, and then it was time to ride our first ever train to Bangkok. The train had sleeper beds but we had booked too late so reclining seats it was and the lights did not get turned off at all. Good job we all love sleeping with lights shining in our faces, NOT! Trains in England are fast and on time, which is the compete opposite to trains in Thailand. Be there in 15 hours they said, 20 hours later we had finally arrived!
