It was finally the day we had been waiting for, one of the main reasons we had decided to visit Laos: tubing. Even after Dan Steinberg had told us it was illegal, we decided to give his silly remarks and rent a tube anyway. Tubing is in effect a bar crawl down a river in a rubber ring. All dressed in our tubing shorts ready for a hard days drinking we boarded the tuk tuk with our rubber rings and newest member josh in toe. Shock before we had even sat in our rubber ring it was time for the first bar. As we walked in we were greeted with whiskey shots, brilliant start to an already slightly hungover day. When you buy a drink in the bars along the river you get bracelets to fill up your arms. So whiskey shot done next vodka strawberry slush. Somehow we think they forgot the strawberry as it literally tasted like life vod! Bring on the party. Soaking up the raise, beer pong and throw the stone in the ring amused us until it was time to TUBE! It was a wild rush as everyone grabbed there tubes and headed down to the Mekong river. As Kelly popped in the tube she carefully explained that although the bag was meant to be waterproof we ought to be careful not to dunk the whole bag under the water as to be explained later. Due to it being dry season we got stuck a few times on the rocks until a few of us decided to grab each other's feet arms and tubes to create one big floating army! A short drift down the river later, hello bar number 2.

In order to get to the bar a bottle attached to string was thrown directly at you to pull yourself I'm. Bar 2 bought more slushes, beer, an intenseof volley ball and of course more whiskey shots! Check point, two more braclets! As we became more merry and recruited more people for the floating army it was time to tube again. Another small drift it was hey bar number 3! As Bottles on stings were being thrown left right and centre our tubing army made it into the 3rd bar. After queuing for another whiskey shot, slushes and bracelets it was time to show everyone our amazing drunken dance moves, or not in some cases! After slut dropping and thinking we were full on models in front of the camera it was time to show the boys who was boss at basketball!

Then it was off for another float down the river! And here we were at the final bar! As the sun set behind the mountains it became a lot cooler, so everyone chilled out a little more. As we queued once again for our shots we found two little puppies, who suddenly became the centre of attention! As the little pups got tired off full time attention from the tubing army we thought it was time to chill out and hit the loungers. As we stated before we had decided to stop our 'water proof bags' from hitting the water, unlike Callum Humphries who decided to take his waterproof bag and iphone5 for a dip in the river! However this wasn't such a good idea! Cue the 'can you get a photo of me' jokes being thrown around for the next hour! Next was the 'Callum what's the time' joke, which actually backfired on us as it was 530 and we needed to take the tubes back down to the town for 6! With it being another hour floating down the river, we decided it would be best to get the tuck tuck back. An early night was called for Charlotte and Kelly after being too smashed, however Georgie decided to carry on the party and headed out with a few fellow tubing buddies.
