After an early night we were up and ready to hit the pool, trying top up these tans, however as per usual the sun was behind the many clouds that cover up Laos. So instead it was a day indoors trying to catch up on TOWIE. But as the internet wasn't so great we just sat there catching up with friends and family. Come 1pm it was time to hop on a mini bus and travel the 5 hours to vang vieng, a little town we'd all been looking forward to because of the tubing! So we arrived, and dear god the hostel was terrible (according to miss high maintenance Georgie Ansell!). The bed looked like someone had wee'd in it, it dipped in the middle, it hadn't been cleaned since 2010, and the door didn't lock! The perks of paying £1.82 a night!
After a huge moan to mother Ansell and reassurance from the other girls Georgie agreed to stay in the hostel. Next stop dinner time with josh, a fellow traveller we picked up along the way. This meal turned out to be charlottes best meal, jacket potatoes! Then we pottered round the town and brought our tubing shorts and vests for the next day, (how original) which cost us a whopping 40,000 kip each ( approx £3!). After our mini shopping trip we sipped beer loa (the local beer) while playing cards with Josh. Then popped to fat monkey for our free drink. After a few more we thought we'd call it a day as we all wanted to be on top form for tubing the following day. After an early night we were up and ready to hit the pool, trying top up these tans, however as per usual the sun was behind the many clouds that cover up Laos.
