Today was a cruise day to some of the surrounding islands of Nha Trang. There were some amazing views of the ocean, mountains, and city all combined when sailing. Once we got to the island we did a little bit of swimming and I tried snorkling for the first time! Was a bit worried about it but wore a life jacket so I was able to float and wouldn't have to worry about drowning. Unfortunately, there weren't too many fish where we were snorkling but it was neat to be able to see them in the sea. After about 2 hours of free time (to either swim or snorkle or relax) on the island, we headed back out and had lunch which was tasty! For lunch there was noodles, chicken, calamari, rice, cooked green onions, and spring rolls.

Once lunch was done we met up with another junk boat and a Vietnamese band sung songs to us and then also made individuals from different countries stand up and sing a karakoe song that originated from their country; it was entertaining - I ended up having to stand up with 8 other Canadians to sing Bryan Adams - Summer of 69 song.

After that some of the people decided to go for another swim and jump off the roof of the junk boat (I was not one). Then we headed back to the hotel room. I think it would be safe to say that almost all of us got burnt while out in the sun today but it was worth it!

Tonight we are heading back to the Sailing Club again for dinner and drinks.
