Today we went to the war museum that show cased the photography taken by photographers who went to Vietnam during the war. The images were very striking and often came with a little caption. The photographs illustrated what Vietnam went through when the Americans were present; the images conjured up a lot of emotions. What Vietnam went through was devasting and they continue to face the affects war left behind.
After the war museum, we headed off to the airport so we could fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang! As soon as we arrived at Nha Trang airport, we headed to our hotel and quickly changed into our bathing suits. We then headed off to have a mud bath.
The mud bath was amazing! First they make you go into warm sprinklers to rinse you off, then you are told to go into a swimming pool that has nice warm water. We hung out at the pool for 30 or so minutes before it was finally time for the mud; when it finally was time we were escorted to seating baths where the mud was pumped through. The mud wasn't as thick as I assumed it was going to be, it was a lot more watery. But after a while it became so much fun. You have buckets to pour the mud all over your body and then you are supposed to massage it into your skin. After the mud bath you had to go through some more sprinklers (ones that were over head sprinklers and ones that were on both sides of a wall and sprayed as you walked through). After most of the mud was cleaned off, we got to go sit in a hot tub.
After the mud bath experience, we went for dinner at a place called the Sailing Club, the food was amazing and they seated us right on the beach.

Ian So much history over there it seems. Sounds like an amazing day. Did you have to pay for the mud bath? Or was that included ?
Bethany It sounds like an interesting place. Its good you get to see some of the history. The pictures are helpful! Im glad you posted them!
Paula The mud bath was an optional that you could purchase, so think it was $20 which isn't too bad. Guess tomorrow night is our cooking class, so will see how that goes. I know, I'll try and post photos a bit more often. It has been really busy as of late so I'll try and improve!
Bethany OHHH!!!! cooking class!!! take notes!!
