Day 32 Las Vegas. A good sleep in this morning in an attempt to catch up on the busy pace of the last 6 days. Relaxed by the pool for the early hours of the afternoon, had a late lunch at the hotel and walked down to The Strip stopping off at the "High Roller" observation wheel, opened in March this year. The wheel at 550 feet high makes it currently the highest observation when in the world displacing the Singapore Flyer at 541 feet high. Awesome views from the pods during the 30 minute ride as the wheel is generally higher than most of the surrounding Casino hotels.
A short walk to Treasure Island Casino to collect our tickets for the show "Mystaire" at 7:00 pm. This show is the original Cirque du Soleil production which started 30 years ago followed by another 19 different shows currently throughout the world of which 8 are currently residing in LV. The show was a colourful and bizarre spectacle of choreographed acrobats performing the most unbelievable movements high above the stage along with several other entertainers performing superhuman feats of strength including one man who balanced his head (imagine a handstand but with no hands to balance) on another mans heels for around 20 seconds! Absolutely incredible to see!!!
Left the theatre and walked on down to watch the "Fountains of Bellagio" as so many others were doing in the warm evening retiring to the hotel, tired but satisfied from another great day in Sin City.
