Day 33 Las Vegas. 10:00 am and the shuttle bus arrived at our hotel transferring us to Boulder City Airport 30 minutes away for our helicopter flight over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Dozens of helicopters at the airport taking people from all over the world on the 1 hr and 10 minute flight. Day 32 Las Vegas. A good sleep in this morning in an attempt to catch up on the busy pace of the last 6 days. Relaxed by the pool for the early hours of the afternoon, had a late lunch at the hotel and walked down to The Strip stopping off at the "High Roller" observation wheel, opened in March this year. Day 31 Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Caught an American Airlines flight departing 1220 to LV. A lot of smog hanging over LA trapped in by the San Bernardino Mountains to the east. Great views of the Mohave desert below spotting the Interstate we travelled by road to Vegas 4 weeks ago. Checked in the the Tuscany Suites and Casino Hotel set about a km east from The Strip.
