Day 31 Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Caught an American Airlines flight departing 1220 to LV. A lot of smog hanging over LA trapped in by the San Bernardino Mountains to the east. Great views of the Mohave desert below spotting the Interstate we travelled by road to Vegas 4 weeks ago.
Checked in the the Tuscany Suites and Casino Hotel set about a km east from The Strip. Very pleasant and quiet here. Chilled out in the pool area for a few hours and then walked down to Caesars Palace to collect our tickets for big trip highlight, Shania Twain's show in the Colosseum. The show exceeded all expectations in a very powerful performance of lighting, sound, props and dancing. Shania left the stage, singing in the aisles and allowing selfies to be taken with her. Tony missed out on his selfie with Shania but got a few good close up pics when she came close by. A very down to earth lady that left the crowd feeling very buzzed up. 10's of millions of pieces of glitter tape exploded from the ceiling during her final signature song - Man I Feel Like A Woman and the crowd went wild. Returned to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
