"WOW" is all I have the energy to say right now, chilling on a fur covered bed in the lounge of Stavanger Airport! Two strikes off my dwindling bucket list, and I'm quickly running out of things to do. Seriously, I've been lucky enough to have been on so many wonderful travel adventures, from barren plains of the Serengeti (sleeping among wandering lions whose breath rasps at the foot of your tent), through feisty white water rapids at the source of the Nile, sensational shark feeding in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef, diving with four metre wide majestic mantas as dive buddies - 14 metres down in the Indian oceans of the Maldives, snorkellIng with teasing turtles in the shallow waters off Hawaii, hot footing it across the fiery molten larvae rocks of Big Island's active volcano, ascending the snowy peaks of the Himalayas (not quite reaching base camp, the upper most point on the planet reached by man), trekking through Africa's most impenetrable forests heart stoppingly close to mountain gorillas and now close enough to practically touch both the bewitching Northern Lights and the world's largest mammals, the Humpback Whales, in the Arctic Circle. I've loved every moment for each has created a memory for me to reflect on in my old age; after all what is life all about, if you don't live a little?! That's all folks. Ciao for now from Norway... until our next big adventure together. xxxx

dawn Wow T - just caught up with your blog. I didn't know you were going to Tromso. That's where I went 3 years ago - amazing place. Didn't see the whales though - missed something special there so will have to go again one day!! Looks like you've had an awesome New Year. I'm looking forward to catching up with you, hearing all about it and swapping stories. Happy New Year to you both. Sending lots of love and hugs xxxx
