Hi Everyone,
We had a lovely day yesterday with Jean and the family. We had arrived at the farm just after 11.00am a cloudy wet day but with such beautiful countryside to look at how could you not enjoy.
Jean took us in her car over the Pressilie Mountains towards Cardigan, to the Welsh Wildlife Canolfan Centre. It would have been lovely to wander around this lovely natural parkland area but the weather wasn't too kind today quite chilly, a lazy cold breeze and raining.
We ended up having hot soup for lunch and looking out through the large picture windows at the beautiful surrounding country side with the small town of Cardigan in the distance.
After lunch there was a short break in the weather which allowed us to have a closer look at the giant badger (pictured above) made from interwoven twigs.
We then drove back over the mist covered mountains through beautiful scenery to the farm.
Maggie and Brian cooked a delicious meal and we met up with their girls, Hannah and Rosie again, they have the lovely welsh lilt in their voices. A lovely evening was spent chatting before we drove back to our B & B.
Chat again soon.
