Saying for the day: Be selective in your battles, sometimes peace is better than being right.

Leave for a Waco Tour at 9:15 a.m. Arrive the Indigo Hotel where we will meet our guides and others on the van. Oh boy, we're a fun group, we can tell right away.

Saw all of Baylor University, what a lovely campus, 1000 acres. The architecture is stunning and most buildings with tall spires.

See Texas Rangers, Lover's Leap, and lots of the Fixer Upper homes that Chip and Joanna Gaines renovated. David Ridley pops up to the van on the tour to say hello. He's the Co-Owner of Waco Tours and had his home renovated on the show. Had a stop at "Harp Design" too and got to see where those famous tables and benches are made. We had a great time on the van and our guides were wonderful! David and Alyssa kept us hopping the whole time we were learning about the city of Waco. Lots of historical facts, and there were quizzes! They even got us to sing along to "Celebration" and we each had to do our own "moves" from our seats. Now where else can you get that kind of fun while learning new things? We were returned to the Indigo Hotel and truly, we hated not to go again!

We headed for the Silos and the Cupcake Bakery and Magnolia Market; can't miss those while here. Everything was so interesting and it was just "beyond" a FUN day!!
