Will-and-Marge's Great Adventure to Alaska
Temp: 60 - Hi 77
Staying here until Monday.
Saying for the day: Worrying is assuming God doesn't know what He’s doing.
A pretty day and time to head to the West Edmonton Mall for the day. First a stop at the Post Office for some stamps. An interesting thing happened there; the clerk messed up on the payment for the two different stamps I purchased and had to do it over; it came out that I needed 10 cents more and I only had a ten dollar bill. Oh, says she. Meantime, a woman behind me in line who had a lovely pocket book and one that I had complimented her on earlier, offered the dime to me. How sweet that was for a start to the day. We just kept running into nice, nice people and that really helps make a good day and a good impression for the country. We had a lot of fun shopping and even ate at the Sherlock Holmes Pub. Salmon for Marge, fish and chips for Will. Check the pics!
The Mall is incredibly big! Hopefully the pictures today will show what all is in the Mall besides all the usual shops and sellers in the middle areas. And so many shops we never heard of too. And being a Saturday, OHH, the people!
We also had a chance, while at the Mall to hear men and women audition for one of the Oiler’s Hockey games, singing the Canada National Anthem. We were glad not to be the judges, they were all really good.
Staying until Monday.

June Chamberlin Starbucks...it's everywhere! (Thankfully!)
June Chamberlin That's an amazing mall! I can't even imagine the shopping there, but who needs shopping? The place looks like an amusement park! Fun. I think I could put down tent stakes, and live right there, in Edmunton.... Thanks for sharing all the great pics.
BOB Nelson Corky...Noooo! My bad dream come true. Aunt Marge, tell Uncle Will he can NOT shop one bit! Scarrrry!
