Less than 24 hours into our stay in Kutu, it soon became apparent that this was the Australian's version of Benidorm. Lots of Aussie's & Aussie families on a cheap & near getaway. This meant that against the English pound, the food & booze was even cheaper for us!! The following four days consisted of us chilling at the beach, having cheap lunch & dinners & a fair few bar visits. The Sports Bar was a frequent hangout for us, due to the amount of Premier League that they showed. Unfortunately one such visit saw me witness West Ham beat Liverpool. Shocking!! One lunch visit took us to the Hard Rock Cafe, which meant that I was in heaven. A slightly more expensive lunch was soon forgotten by all the music memorabillia surrounding me. I think half the memory on my camera's SD card may have been used in there. Easily the best venue that we stumbled upon was the Sky Garden Bar. This was 7 levels of different pubs & clubs, each of which offered various 'deals' to get our custom. We partook in a 2 hour 'all you can drink' beer deal for the equivalent of 2 pound 50. On Fridays & Saturdays you could get a bottle of beer for 50p & from midnight until 12:30am they gave away free Vodka Redbulls (as many as you could drink, one at a time though). Other nights of the week had food deals on their tapas menu, so this of course was taken advantage of! After 4 days of meeting random people & taking them on our liver reducing adventures, we decided to head to the centre of Bali for a few days of detox!
