Today we drove from Villeneuve Loubet on the French Riviera a to Monaco and the on to our accommodation at Menton. After two days of rain, most torrential, it was sunny and warm today. Monaco and Monte Carlo are still beautiful. Very clean and very posh. We walked around the town past the palace which isn't really pink, around the old town, through the gardens and along the city walls. Monaco is only tiny. It is 2km wide by 900 m deep. We have never seen more expensive cars in one place at the same time. Alex finally got to ride ona petit train, around Monaco. Last night after checking into our "Fawlty Towers" accommodation we drove back to see Monaco at night and have a look at the Casino. It was very impressive at night and even more expensive cars, Ferrari, porche, Mercedes, Lambourghini etc.Tomorrow we are back into Italy staying near Rapallo. I think we will have a look around the old town of Menton as we go, looks lovely.
