A very pleasant chug. Chilly, but sunny. Arrived at 20.30 and went straight for our 4 week anniversary pizza! Don't like the look of the weather coming our way in a day or so, so alarms set for 03.45, to keep on plodding on.....

Frustrating morning jobbing. WS took a bit of a bashing yesterday, which knocked out the domestic water system. Got it going in the end, but it was frightened and didn't want to play. Start delayed as lock keeper said it was too shallow, we'd have to wait an hour. Shame he didn't say that when we asked him last night, would have gone an hour earlier. By the time we left, the wind was ENE, we had a sail for an hour, but couldn't make the course. So motor sailed. Wind and seas increased, and Beachy Head was fun.... Anyway, safely at Eastbourne.
