Day 8 .... Mother’s Day started out like any other morning with the usual proximity squabbles but this morning they eventuated into some bacon and eggs and a lovely handmade card for mummy! We had to eat to get our strength up for the day ahead as Matt’s Walking Tours (the one man company we have engaged to accompany us on this trip) decided on a ‘hard’ graded climb up Mt Ohlssen Bragg (900m above sea level) 6km return to the peak.
Mummy not particularly enthused about spending Mother’s Day climbing a (insert expletive) mountain, but even though quite challenging was beautiful all the way up.
