Last day in Alice, we thought we’d have the trailer to pack after 10am but Jo wanted to fix the alignment and was waiting on some longer bolts, so now we get it after 10 tomorrow..... Frustrating but what’s another half day when we’ve already been here a week?! Finally let the kids have a go on the camp go karts which created more fights than fun by the time the hour was up. Lil and I bought some more paints for our artwork and made a very exciting visit to Talipa to purchase ‘my’ painting. They are shipping to me when we get back already stretched to hang. Mrs Riley had just been in that morning, was a shame as would have loved to meet her. She normally paints massive works so I am lucky to have this one.
Back to pack up as much as we can and make good use of our in cabin washing machine, everything all clean and we were ready to go!
However one last swim and go at the water slide yielded a nasty cut to Cam’s knee as he tripped up the steps.....Straight to emergency for some stitches. Little man was very brave when needle going in, 4 stitches in all in a tricky spot to keep immobile, but we’ll just have to keep him still while we do the Tanami and hope for the best.
