Phew, a hot sleepless night leant itself to a slower morning, got a bit of schoolwork done before our campsite was in full sun and then headed out to look at some rock art at Nourlangie. This area was a refuge in the wet season due to lots of large overhangs for shelter. A lot of the artwork was on the ‘ceilings’ of these shelters and quite well preserved. We spent a while packing up as we’d spread out somewhat for our Darwin stay, some advanced packing skills were required to fit in the fireworks.... now just hoping that we don’t get stopped and inspected, any contraband can be seized after today, as if anyone needed any more incentive to let off their entire stash in the space of a few hours.
