Stopped for lunch, we did not need to adjust our watches ahead five years, just 30 minutes as we were heading into Central Australia time. When we returned to our vehicle, there was a Land Cruiser with a large caravan attached, parked beside us. Two night stay at Homestead Caravan Park, Barcaldine. Asthma attack, in Barcaldine Hospital for treatment. Nebuliser fixed me up in no time. We arrived at the caravan park the day before Long Tan Day and were invited to have 3 course dinner with the owners and other guests, the next night.
