30/11/2009 - We got the bus from byron bay in the morning and it only took a couple of hours to get to Surfers Paradise. When we got to the hostel we got put in an eight bed dorm which wasnt that nice so we decided to treat ourselves and moved to an apartment which was amazing. After we walked down to the beach and walked along the beach onto the main street and did some shopping. We went back to the hostel and jsut chilled out in the apartment and had some dinner. Me and Louisa managed to book tickets to go and see the LA Lakers when we get to LA we are well excited!

01/12/2009 - Day 2
We got the bus to wet and wild water park and it was well packed. When we got there we had to queue up outside, because we had bought VIP passes we got in first. We chucked our stuff into some lockers then went on the nearest ride we could find. The best ride there was one that was shaped like a dogs cone collar and we all went down together and almost fell out of the rubber ring. It was so much fun. We went on all the slides there and had a totally wicked time. We also bumped into a girl called Charlotte from the bus who was by herself as she had lost her friends so joined us for the day too. We were all knackered by the time we left the park so we just chilled in the apartment again in the evening and had a few drinks.

02/12/2009 - Day 3
This time we got on another bus and went to sea world with our VIP passes. When we got in there we had a photo taken with bert and ernie then went to watched the sea lion show which was pretty cool. After that we went to watch the dolphin show which was really good fun and the dolphins were amazing. We saw lots of different animals, the polar bears were our favourite because they reminded us of us two. One kept jumping on and trying to drown the other that was just sitting there peacefully!! Guess which one was me and which one was louisa!?! On the way back we had stop off at the shops to get me some jeans so that we could go on the Backpackers Big Night Out. It seemed the only style they do here is skinny so I had to buy a pair. I wasnt very keen when i bought them but they werent too bad in the end. Alex on the other hand hated his and went home early just to get out of them! We started at the hotel bar first and made use of the happy hour. On the backpackers big night out we headed out to a couple of clubs and both got a little drunk. We had a wicked time then stumbled home.
