Hey guys- not much to feed back on this week. But me and An's camara appear to have found our peace together. So first film looked like sox had got hold of it, second was blank, but third time lucky. These are mostly pics I have taken on clinic. More interesting than site seeing anyway. Skippy arrives tomorrow so will be taking her to the best places so will retake some of the lost pics. Been working very hard this week with mostly 12-14 hour days. Intubated a 32 weeker yesterday, scary. There's been some very sad days this week. As much as I am learning to love India, the very fact of how poor most people are is really starting to hit home. The pics are from a slum we went to on friday which was a lot poorer than the others. Plus the men have money but spend it all on drink! b******s- whilst they're kids are starving. Excuse the language but it got me a teeny bit wound up! These experiences have really got me thinking about the concepts of blame and judement. I think I have to be very careful that I stay away from both! It certainly made me realise how dam lucky we are with our well fair state and NHS- would love to say I will never moan about it again...but I will. Oh have been moved rooms to next to the chapel behind big jesus statue. Have sneaky suspicion this is to do with Dr Beula would is determined to turn me into a devout christian. But has two beds- happy days for when skips turns up. Plus TV which has meant late night film watching and falling asleep on my idilis in the morning- whoops! Away have been booking rooms and train tickets for next week. Can't bloody wait to travel, will update often. Have woffled enough, oh had the titanic tune played to me by a guy with a recorder using nostrils. Bangalore will never cease to surpise. Take care all Waf xxxx
