We are now in Pushkar, in Rajasthan. When we left from Rishikesh, we went to Delhi by bus. It should have last 8 hours, but there was like 5 hours traffic jam, so we were in the bus like 11hours... not funny. And all that because of Obama who visited Delhi!
In Delhi we met again Nicky, our Indian friend from the streets. He had found a place to live for winter so that's good. David left also some clothes for him for the winter.
Our next stop was Agra. We took the train, only 3hours. It was my first train trip in India and it was better than bus. At least you can go to toilets when you want!
In Agra we found a room for 500Rs. Agra is so expensive, so we decided just to stay 2 nights and visit just Taj Mahal and leave.
We went to Taj Mahal at 6 A.M. before the place was full of people. It was beautiful and everything but I was kind of disappointed...maybe I have seen enough of buildings...And I cost 750Rs to get in! Agra is the most expensive cities in India and also the most touristic.
From Agra we took a bus to Jaipur. I really don't have anything to say about Jaipur. We stayed in a awful hotel, it was really the worst room we have been so far, but only for 300 Rs. And every morning I'm now used to have my banana porridge, and I ordered one in the hotel, and what a horrible thing they gave me! Really disgusting! So we preferred not to eat there anymore...
We stayed 2 nights in Jaipur and then we left to Pushkar. Pushkar is a nice town in Rajastan, not far from Jaipur and every year in November there is a big Camel Fare. The town is full of tourists from everywhere. And that means also that the prices go up. Normally the room we got for 500 Rs is like 300rs...but the hotel we are staying is the best we have been, or at least the most clean one! I don't even have to use my sleeping bag; I can actually sleep in the bed sheets! So cool!
Now it's been one week that we are here and tomorrow we ll leave.
And I have a surprise for you! David will by today a motorcycle and we ll discover Rajasthan by motorcycle! David will sell it again in Goa because it's registered there.
So a big adventure is waiting for us!
