Sarah and I were on the 9.30 am bus out of Airlie Beach to Cairns, both with sore heads for some reason, I managed to miss the connection bus so my journey lasted for 12 hours instead of 9 which was a bit pants, however my luggage got there before me and had a look around town so I knew what was there!! That was the night that England won the football 3-0 so bit of a mad run around and excitedness in our dorm at 4am, just as well really as being beaten by the all Blacks twice then by France in Euro 2004 it was not looking so great! Had a couple of days chill out in Cairns. Sarah and I bravely went and got a tattoo, she got her star sign and I got mine and we are really pleased with them, then we went and did some souvenir shopping and visited Green Island which is part of the Great Barrier Reef and very beautiful
