Well what can I say, I was still wide awake till 3.30am last night and counting sheep didn't work :( I was exhausted but just wide awake at the same time. Needless to say I didn't wake till 12.30pm today so that was my morning coffee with Kat out the window.
I got up and showered then went for a walk down to the main street in St Kilda to have breakfast/lunch at the Fringe where Chris suggested I went. It was so fine to just walk about without being hassled or being surrounded by high towers. I managed to eventually get a cardigan which I had been looking for weeks. It's much cooler down in Melbourne compared to Africa or Sydney!
Chris was picking me up from the hostel at 6pm to go out for dinner. So I came back to the hostel to attempt to get my blog up todate. I was too exhausted last night to even attempt it. I also contacted Alana so hopefully I'll manage to meet up with Peter and Michelle for dinner some evening, and I emailed Elsie and Ed to see when I can go and visit them again too.
I managed to get 2 days of my blog published but still 4 days to go :( I got all dressed up and even painted my nails but I had no idea where we were going tonight or what the plan was. Chris just said look pretty and we'll head to Lygon Street for dinner.. So that's what I did :)
Lygon Street was full of Italian restaurants and it was so busy. Chris's boyfriend, Mum, mum's friend, sister, sisters boyfriend and cousin were all there so in total there was 8 of us oh and Caley her other cousin that she toured India joined us too. It was really fine to be out with a family again.
We went to one place for starters and mains, then moved to another place for coffees etc. Chris dropped me back at the hostel about 11ish which was so good of her. Infact her Mum paid for everything tonight, which was so nice.
I managed to phone the insurance company when I got back to the hostel, and start the process for my camera claim but the things they need is ridiculous. They make it so hard to claim anything. Plus they're only open UK 9am till 5am so thats why I had to phone at midnight. Anyways at least I have it reported now.
I was still awake at 2am tonight, and I'm putting it down to the jet lag from Africa catching up on me. They sometimes say it kicks in a week later.
I've had an affa fine chilled out day in Melbourne though. Good night folks xxx
