Oh dear oh dear!! I wasn't very well this morning! Had an absolute blast last night though, it was a really good ice breaker getting to know everyone!

We left Nungwi at 9am so at least it was a bit of a lie in and we headed straight back to Stone Town where we had the afternoon to ourselves. A few of us headed for the internet cafe as this was probably the last chance we would get a computer until Cape Town!! How will I cope!?! That's like 31 days without emails, viber or Facebook :(

The weather was really warm and humid, struggling to adjust to this kind of heat and I've been told it just gets warmer and drier as we progress through the countries! Eak! We had lunch at a really dodgy looking cafe but to be honest everywhere in this place looks dodge, it was lovely food though and cheap. The town is full of white buildings that have all been neglected and the whole town is ran down.

After managing to successfully find a working ATM, I got money out and went shopping with a few of the girls. I didn't get anything as the shops were also not the best, just a few postcards. Starting to feel much more settled with the group etc and looking forward (also nervous) to our first nights camping tomorrow!!!

I had drinks at a sea side cafe with 3 other girls, we wrote our postcards and I caught up on my blog. Crazy heat though - was sweating buckets, sorry for that info :) Think cold showers are going to be a blessing!!

There's 17 in our group now until we reach Livingstone, where some finish there, some go another route to Jo'berg and 6 of us are there right till Cape Town!

A crowd of us went to African House for dinner again, it was the same restaurant we went to on our first night in Stone Town. Food was lovely but it was all under candlelight as the power had been off since about 5pm! Tonight's Zanzibar choice was Prawn and Spinach Pasta dish!

Early night tonight but the power is still off and the hotels generator is right outside our window!!! What a racket it's making. I'll be lucky if I get any sleep with the noise and the heat, anyways better try.

Mucho excited about the proper big adventure starting tomorrow - roll on the camping!! xxx
