I started today with a morning call to Kylie and Jen which was ace speaking to them. I think I may still have been drunk from last night when I was on the phone but it was all good as they were away to head out in Inverurie. I really need to have a few viber calls to Carole, Henrietta and Pamela, but it's so hard with the 13 hour time difference and managing to time it when people aren't working.

I had a very lazy day and didn't do very much at all. Managed to book a bus down to Invercargill for Monday and gave Margaret a call to let her know etc. She is going to meet me at the bus station which is so nice.

The weather was much brighter than yesterday but still raining at times. I headed up the Skyline Gondola to see the views over Queenstown again, which was spectacular. I love how all the lakes here are a gorgeous bright turquoise colour.

Anyways after texting Carole yesterday and she was saying how good my blog was, I attempted to catch up with it but I am now over 2 weeks behind. I know if I stop now I will regret it later. So instead of a cocktail or alcoholic drink, I had a cup of tea in the Sky Bar and started writing....

It was going to take me ages to catch up with this but I was determined. I decided to stay up at the restaurant for dinner. It was a buffet and white table cloths etc, I wasnt really dressed for the occasion but at least I had done my hair and make up hehe. It was a really nice meal, with an amazing few over the lake and Queenstown. A full rainbow appeared as well which made it even more pretty.

On the way back down in the gondola, I was racking through my bag for my phone when I found a passport in my bag...! Yup you guess it, it wasn't my passport. It was someones from the group of Scottish that I met last night. Luckily I had Stevens number so phoned him to ask who this guy was, and he hadn't even noticed it was missing!!! I went to meet them in the Buffalo Bar when I got back down and chatted to Steven and Duncan for a while. I hope you are impressed that I didn't have an alcoholic drink with dinner nor did I have a drink in the bar when I met them. Decided this morning I really need to lose weight big style as I am stressing out every time I look in the mirror :( (Chunky Monkey according to Brucey boy haha.)

I came back to the hostel and wrote more of my blog, and I think tomorrow will be a whole day of writing blogs too. Ben, Tat, Mella and Nina were all drinking in the dorm and I managed to resist finishing my bottle of wine or any of the vodka that they were offering me. I was so impressed with myself. A Saturday with no alcohol intake :)

It was so much fun though in the dorm, Ben is a juggler so we all went out to the street and watched him busk. It was hilarious. They were all quite drunk, I had a skype with Phoebe and Dad phoned for a short news. The auzzie girls got Tat absolutely wasted, he doesn't normally drink, so the poor guy couldn't handle it and was KO'd within 30 minutes of drinking with the rest. It was quite funny.

A quiet Saturday night in Queenstown!!! :) xxx
